The Rich Thinking Pattern

If you want to be rich, first you must change your mind set about money. You should not think negative about what a lot of money could affect a person life i.e. Money is the root of all evil. In fact, it is the lack of money that is the cause of much evil (look at people selling drug, it an easier way of making money). These mental differences are the main factor that separates the rich and the poor. How you think will dictate how you will behave. For example, I will earn my degree no matter what or I must finish the job or I shall be rich. Thinking negative will somehow give an indication to your brain not to do it and therefore makes your brain lazy.

The rich people on the other hand thinks differently, the rich will say “The rich do not work for money instead the rich equipped with financial intelligent, have money work for them”.

When a person have the desire to be rich, he/she must first decide mentally whether they want to be rich, poor or middle class. This is very important decision because whichever financial position in life you choose i.e. be it rich, poor or middle class, everything in your life then changes.

Most people when thinking about money, people have three fundamental reasons as below (according to priority):

a) To be secure
b) To be comfortable
c) To be rich

All these choices according to rich dad (extracted from the book : Rich Dad guide to investing) are important. However the difference in one’s life occurs when the choices are prioritized. Most people when it comes to money, their first choice is security, second is comfort and third is rich. That why most people make job (Just Over Broke) their highest priority. After they have a secure job or profession then they focus on comfort. The last choice for most people is to be rich. Most people have the desire to be rich but it is not their first choice. That is why most people are not rich because of this priority of choices. For most people if becoming rich disturbs their comfort or make them feel insecure, they will forsake becoming rich. Worst still people who make security and comfort their first and second choices looks for ways to get rich quick that are easy, no risk and comfortable. Some will do get rich on one lucky investment i.e. winning lottery, but all too often they lose it all again. Why? Because they cannot handle the problem of too much money.

People often say “ I’d rather be happy than be rich”. Why do people need to choose between happiness and being rich? Why choose if you can have both. May be what they are really saying is “ I rather feel secure and comfortable than be rich”. Is it because they will feel unhappy if they are insure and uncomfortable? To me, when you are poor and unhappy, it will make you even more unhappy but if you are rich and unhappy, at least it not so bad.

Another negative think the poor and middle class always think is “money does not make you happy”. To me I feel happy if money comes in and sad when it leaves me. I don’t know about you but if you are unhappy person, no matter how much money you have you will still be unhappy.

As a conclusion, in order to start thinking about getting rich, set your priority in this order:

a) To be rich
b) To be comfortable
c) To be secure

Making the wise choice as above will have a significant long term impact upon the kind of life you choose to be in.

Great talent is not enough

Talent alone will not make you financially successful. Look around you, so many of these so called professionals such as doctor, engineer, teacher, lawyer and so on still struggle financially. To be independent and sound financially, one must need to learn and master one more skill and their income would jump exponentially.

Skill such as financial intelligent is a synergy of accounting, investing, marketing and law. Combine those four technical skills and making money with money is easier. By the way, rich people does not work for money, they are in control of money and money work for them.
For example, a story about a young writer for the newspaper, If she diligently learned the skills of sales and marketing, her income would jump dramatically, Instead of relying solely on her degree in journalism and work for money. Equipped with this extra skills as well as still working for the newspaper, she can setup her own agency part time and provide services to the other newspaper.

Most people, when it comes to money, the only skill most people know is to work hard for money i.e. being an employee.

Tips on getting rich:

a) Stop doing what you’re doing: Stop doing what is not working and look for something new to do. Why waste time if it does not work, right.
b) Look for new ideas: Reads business magazine i.e. personal money magazine, watch investment video, reads book on investment. Go to the bookstore and browse for books on different subjects. For example buy how to and self help books i.e. 16 percent solution, how to be a property millionaire, millionaire employee, smart investment, millionaire next door, Rich Dad Poor Dad, how to start photocopy business and so on.
c) Take Actions: As you read those books, do exactly as instructed, step by step. The problem with most people, they bought the books but do not take action. You must take action before you can receive the financial rewards. Act now.
d) Find someone who has done what you want to do: Befriend with them, take them to lunch. Ask them for tips, for little tricks of the trade. You need someone to guide and show you the right path.
e) Take classes and buy tapes: Search the newspaper for interesting classes. Attend seminars on what you want to learn. The rich people getting richer because they know what they are doing, they have the knowledge, skill and most importantly the how to go about making more money. They acquired this knowledge mostly by attending seminars, short courses on the subject of making money.

THE AIR CAR – POWERED BY COMPRESSED AIR.

IS THIS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR?

The good thing about technology, it keeps on evolving. Scientist has been for so long looking for alternative source of fuel to power the vast numbers of vehicles to day. Currently most cars are petrol driven vehicle.

Well, look no further, here come the AIR CAR. It took Guy Negre ( Moteur Developpment International, France ) about 14 years to research and developed an engine that could become one the biggest technological break through in this century. It uses Compressed Air Technology (CAT) as fuel. However by incorporating compressed air and fuel (bi-energy) the CAT vehicles can increase it driving range close to 2000km with ZERO POLLUTION in cities and considerably reduced pollution outside urban areas.

Where to go after we die? Purgatory Perhaps?

PURGATORY

A holding place called Purgatory.

We all know about heaven and hell and what their purpose is, but what about purgatory? Most religions do not have a concept on what is called a intermediate place or holding place for the dead that I know of (at this moment in time). The Catholic Christian Faith does and according to its’ definition:-

Purgatory (Lat., "purgare", to make clean, to purify) in accordance with the Roman Catholic teaching is a place or condition of temporal punishment for those who, departing this life in God's grace, are, not entirely free from venial faults, or have not fully paid the satisfaction due for their transgressions.

Modern Protestants (all other churches that are non-Catholic), while they avoid the name purgatory, frequently teach the doctrine of "the middle state," and Martensen ("Christian Dogmatics," Edinburgh UK, 1890, p. 457) writes: "As no soul leaves this present existence in a fully complete and prepared state, we must suppose that there is an intermediate state, a realm of progressive development, in which souls are prepared for the final judgment" (Farrar, "Mercy and Judgment," London, 1881, cap. iii).

Source http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12575a.htm

There is proof that purgatory exist. Spirits or souls who have realized their past mistakes, often come back to the living - asking for help to be released from a place of darkness and sorrow where they are often alone and lonely (probably left to think out their past mistakes – like a naughty child being put in a quiet corner). How long they are there is another matter. For as long as it takes I suppose. One such example is about the famous King Henry the 8th of England as in the following story.

In an article by Lyn Picknett on Return of the Tudors, she tells the story about a British clergy/priest of Peterborough Cathedral, England who became interested in England’s history about King Henry the 8th and his many wives. One day while at his sister’s house in 1921, he met a medium (someone who can talk to the dead). He was to talk to the dead through her for many years later. The late king’s wife Anne Boelyn, through the medium revealed his future as a priest which in time did come true in every way.

One day in 1922 William Pakenham-Walsh, the person we are talking about, received a letter from a Christian psychic who often communicated with the dead who had once lived during the same period of Henry VII. She herself received a message from a dead person called Alwyn who mentioned that Anne Boleyn needed to clear her conscious even though she has departed from this Earthly existence for a long time. Her relationship with the King also needed to be mended as the King had her head chopped off so that he could marry again. Of course any normal person would be angry and hurt if they were murdered by their spouse, even IF he was a powerful king. He, King Henry the 8th needed to be aware of his sins and seek forgiveness to those he had hurt during his lifetime including his previous wives so that he too could be cleansed of sins and past mistakes. For this to happen the priest was invited, along with his medium so that they could get together all the spirits from King Henry’s past and resolve their differences once and for all.

William Pakenham-Walsh was then introduced to a psychic (Mrs Hester Dowden) who communicated with the dead through automatic writing. It was through her that information was received from King Henry VII first wife Katherine of Aragon who wanted them to help the king. Since she was his first wife, she was the only one who seemed to care about what happened to his soul. Pakenham-Walsh and a few others talked to King Henry VII for quite some time. They discovered that he was not in ‘Summerland’ but in a lower plane of existence or purgatory/hell as we know it. It was dark and desolate and there was no body to talk to. He still believed that he had the authority and power of a king and got angry quite often during the communication when the living tried to tell him that he needed to understand his weaknesses and ask forgiveness from others. In the end King Henry finally showed remorse especially when told that with forgiveness, he will be able to move from that awful place and go to a better place where his two sons already were.

The longing to see and be united with his sons made him determined to reconcile with all those who he had hurt during his lifetime, especially his former wives. In June 1933, in the company of two mediums, King Henry the Eight repented and asked forgiveness from all those he had wronged. His executed wives and his daughter Queen Elizabeth I, were all there. Pakenham-Walsh acted as priest, blessed the gathering including both the living and the dead. With this, the dead rested in peace and were gone, having reconciled in the after-life.

I personally believe that the above story does to a certain extent prove that there is a purgatory (I do believe in life after death as I am trying to prove in this article) and that even Kings and leaders of countries are not exempted from judgment from God let alone the common man and woman.

Quite recently I received an article through my email on Purgatory. This information is about the revelation of an obscure pamphlet on Purgatory which suddenly came to light again after disappearing for many years (Published in Illinois, USA and printed in 1958). According to the pamphlet “Purgatory is a place of mercy and of goodness,” The unknown person who wrote the pamphlet seemed to have had an experience or insight to Purgatory and said “In that cleansing fire I have found the goodness and mercy of God as my soul sought it. My soul asks God, ‘May I live once more? Can I yet make amends?’ Then God says: ‘Yes, you are now entering the novitiate of Heaven. You must now suffer and expiate all your sins. Thereby you will be made pure.’ The unknown author says that God gives everyone a second chance to be sorry for all the wrong things that they have done before and that it is possible to be cleansed while in Purgatory. It reads “Truly it is a place of redemption where souls have gathered at the brink of the abyss,”. That means when the soul has reached the point of no return (almost) and is doomed for Hell then Purgatory is his/her last chance so that he/she can enter Heaven one day and find peace at last. It also says that “God is not severe, not cruel toward the poor souls, as many imagine Him to be,” and that is why many are sent to Purgatory for God is good, full of compassion and love for people and gives them this second chance.

Purgatory then is a cause for hope for those who have failed to seek forgiveness from others that they have wronged while still alive on Earth. Roman Catholic Christians believe in praying for the dead in Purgatory (Asking for forgiveness of souls) and the pamphlet seems to support the idea. It says ‘As soon as they awaken in purgatory, the Light of God begins to purify them and the souls grow more receptive to the benefits of prayers, religious Masses, and good works on their behalf’ and ‘When we pray for the Poor Souls they are most grateful to us and pray for us in return’. So if a poor deceased soul comes to you for help, be it is person (spiritually of course) or dream, do them a favour and pray for the forgiveness of their soul. One day we too might need the prayers of others - like it or not. Just be prepared.

LIFE AFTER DEATH ( AN ALTERNATIVE VIEWPOINT )

No doubt believers (in life after death) have asked this question before. Some already know what to expect, some are not sure, some believe what their religion teach, others do not believe that there is even life after death, some refuse to even think about death and struggle to avoid it, always looking for ways to prolong their earthly lives.

Whatever your point of view doesn’t matter here. We are not trying to argue who is right and who is wrong. I’m only interested in seeing beyond death’s door and what’s on the other side because we will all reach that door one day. Is death really ‘THE END’ or is there something more that many have no way of knowing about until they reach that stage?

Let us try to keep an open mind about this. There are many things which cannot be explained away by science or religion alone. Things that are hidden from the human knowledge and understanding - for the time being.

PROOF OF LIFE, after death

How do we get proof of life after death? Well, I suppose it is all around us today. Sensitive people are more able to grasps this ‘proof’ more than others. Their senses are much more sharper and finer than ours and they even have advanced senses that others do have. They are able to tune in to the existence of souls that were once human before and some can even communicate with them. Some call them mediums or shamans or psychics etc. There are even uncomplimentary names for these people which does not do them justice. Yes I know, I know… some are frauds but not all of them are. Some have proven time and again that their powers are genuine and you can see the result does not involve fraud or lies. They have many witnesses to back them up. Some belong to religious bodies, some to psychic societies, some to certain associations while others function alone as a freelancer.

There are also non-sensitive people who have had contact with the dead and they did not even start the communication themselves either through the Ouija Board, through a medium or some ritual/rite etc. It was the dead that contacted them first, either to convey a message, to show that they are trying to help you or that they have some unfinished business here on Earth that they hope you will take care off.

Other people, sensitive or not, have even been to the other side and back. They lived again and were able to tell others about it. My own husband’s grandmother, rose back from the dead after two days, coming into the third day, which gave her relatives a surprise, not to mention a horrifying shock as they were getting her body ready for burial. Noticing that her body had not started decomposing yet, her relatives decided to wait until distant relatives had arrived. It is the tradition of our people to wait until the third day before actually start burying the dead (which is a relief to those who happen to live again and have time to wake up above ground). After the initial shock, her relatives were told about what she saw and experienced on the other side. Her report is consistent with written material and personal confession that others have experienced in the past. This is not just in our society but all over the world.

Many people have done research and studies on life after death, they come from various professions ranging from doctors and scientist to ordinary people like you and me.

Proof 1; GHOST, who and what are they?

(Pictures borrowed for non-profit purposes. Source: Internet)

One book which I have read is about a ‘Vicar/priest extraordinaire cum Ghostbuster by the name of Aelwyn Roberts from the UK. For 40 years before retiring from his work as a parson in the Anglican Church of England, he had often been called to see into hauntings by people from various walks of life and to deal with spirits of the dead who have been Earthbound. He later did this work together with three other partners; Elwyn Roberts and Elwyn Edwards, who are members of the Society for Physical Research, UK, and his daughter, Bridget, a professional psychologist. The society does research on physic matters that are difficult to understand by the ordinary person on the street. Some of them have physic powers themselves and are able to sense spiritual presences. I suppose many of you have seen the movie ‘The Exorcist’ and are terrified by it. Well his experience is not as bad or terrifying. He managed to uncover what actually terrified people.

According to Aelwyn, many die unprepared and struggle during their last moments of physical life because they do not know what to expect after death. He also laments the lack of books in the English language on how to die gracefully. Surprisingly he says a book does exist but not from the Western World. It is called the Tibetan Book of the dead, researched and translated by Evans-Wentz. The original book was written during the 8th Century. This book tells us that making a good death requires skill, and skill comes from good instruction which the book itself provides. When a person dies in Tibet a monk is called to instruct him/her on what to expect in the next stage of existence and how to reach that stage. Even when someone dies suddenly, the monk is still called to give instructions. Days later, he will still continue to read into the ear of the dead person, continuing even during the funeral ceremony. Buddhist believe that even after death, a person’s soul will be able to hear and to understand his ‘earth’ language for many days. They believe that the last earth faculty to be extinguished is the sense of hearing.

Having often conversed with the dead through his friend Elwyn Roberts, who has the gift of ‘discerning spirits’, Aelwyn discovers that the ‘thing, ‘evil spirit’ or ‘ghost’ that haunts a particular place or building ceases to be exactly that once they reveal their true identity which is that of ‘Yesterday People’ or people who were once alive and have now passed onto the spiritual world. Aelwyn tries to write down facts given by them so that he can do checks on their previous existence. Sometimes it is hard and sometimes easy to confirm their previous existence. More easily so when the newly deceased have relatives in the same room who can identify them. Often important information are revealed that only the dead and their family relatives/friends know about but not anybody else. Sometimes they need to send messages or do unfinished business here where ordinary Earthly people live, so they hang about until it is finally settled. Many diehard religious people refuse to believe this and think all spirits are evil spirits who come with lies and deceits. They refuse to have an open mind about the matter even if proof was put down in front of them.

Aelwyn also says that most houses do have spirits, not just one but many, from different times and era (especially if the house is old) but a particular one may be more noticeable or troublesome than the others. These spirits usually live peacefully within the same space although they have no sense of time (they don’t know what date or year it is). People who are ‘sensitives’ will notice them more than people who are not. Some accept their presence while others don’t - even though they are peaceful. They ‘feel’ the spirit’s presence and are spooked by them. This is when they start to call in the ‘ghostbusters’. When Aelwyn is invited to expel them from people’s home he tries to converse with these spirits first, they often turn out to be dead relatives or people who have lived in that house before. He says ‘Yesterdays People’ do tend move around like us and are not necessary stuck in one place as previously believed. Sometimes when called upon to find the source of the hauntings, his group will notice that the spirit is not at home at the moment. Some do have a particular room or place they like better than others but do not live there day and night. A sensitive will know this when walking into a room ie; hair on the back of their necks/arms will rise. Maybe the room will be more colder than others. Aelwyn’s group séance (talking to spirits) will often take place in the warmest room – to make the inhabitants more comfortable when trying to communicate with the dead. If the spirits choose to speak through Elwyn Roberts, they will come, sometimes one after another. Some need persuasion more than others.

Aelwyn, despite being a pastor and believing in God, does not actually believe in a ‘Heaven’ and ‘Hell’ concept as most Christian do – to the horror and anger of many Christians. He believes that there are many places to go to after death and not just the two common places believed by most Christian. For your information, Catholics believe in three places; Heaven, Purgatory and Hell. He says communication with the dead is not that difficult. His group does not summon them through rites or the Ouija board but allows them to communicate through the use of his friends’ sensitive body. If they choose not to talk then they cannot be forced to do so. The spirits who have managed to come through often bring back messages from the next life explaining what happens after one dies. Of course, some living people choose to believe this information and some don’t. It is up to them.

His understanding of life after death is that we all go through different levels of existence. There is no final judgment at any given point in time. The first place we visit is called the ‘Summerland’ not exactly Heaven as most people know it (Summerland - as in a place to rest and recuperate). This place does have its lower place of existence - the equivalent of our Purgatory or Hades to those who have lived evil lives on Earth. They are not sent there or are they forced to go there. It is their own spiritual nature that draws them there, where they can live out their own bad desires until the time comes when they eventually sicken of them and with the help of spiritual guides, progress to a higher level of existence. Those who are spiritually mature go to a better place and know that it is for their own benefit that they work hard and learn to improve themselves spiritually. Again they are not forced to do anything, it is totally up to themselves. Once they improve themselves, there are many more further higher places of existence to go to.

He says life in the Summerland is very similar to the life on Earth even though everything exists in thought form. There are jobs to be done (spiritual of course), new skills to be learned and old skills to be improved. Professional people are always required. Craftsmen are always fully employed. So are teachers, doctors and nurses etc. There is also a need for a lot of guardian guides to look after those of us still living on Earth. Souls can move from Summerland to Earth and vice versa especially if they have unfinished business here. That is why there are so many reports of spirits still existing in many houses. Some come to complete unfinished business, some come to look after their troubled relatives and others come to guide those who have been misled/set things right.

Aelwyn Roberts theory seems to make sense especially the bit about ghosts and lingering spirits. This alternative point of view has made me less afraid of ghosts although he does mention that there are unknown and bad spirits out there too and no one should simply NOT allow their bodies to be used unless they are strong and are able to control who/what enters their physical bodies. Care must be made before divulging in spiritual matters too.

Proof 2; Communications with the dead?

Another book I’ve read also proves that there is life after death. This book is researched and written by Bill and Judy Guggenheim who have had an experience themselves where their youngest son was saved from drowning by a voice in Bill’s head warning him of the danger. He does not know who or what spoke to him. The idea and possibility of communication, either one way or both ways, occurred to them after attending a famous Doctors’ seminar on Death and Dying. This doctor, Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, was from Europe and moved to New York after graduation. She was appalled at how doctors and people generally treat those who are dying and those who grieve for them later on. It seemed to be a taboo subject and no one seemed to be able to comfort those who are dying or those who are bereaved. She did a lot of research on the matter and came up with a conclusion. (Please visit the related website for more information). Her contribution to Bill and Judy’s Book titled “Hello from Heaven” is about communication with the dead which she has had herself and to the possibility of life after death – from a doctor’s point of view.
Quoted from the book:-

" Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh and to be able to grow " by Dr Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Dr. Elisabeth has had After Death Communications herself: -

I was at a crossroad. I feel I needed to give up my work with dying patients. That day, I was determined to give notice and leave the hospital and the University of Chicago. It wasn’t an easy decision because I really loved my patients.
I walked out of my last seminar on death and dying towards the elevator. At that moment, a woman walked towards me. She had an incredible smile on her face, like she knew every thought I had.
She said. “Dr Ross, I’m only going to take two minutes of your time. If you don’t mind, I’ll walk you down to your office.” It was the longest walk I have ever taken in my life. One part of me knew that this was Mrs. Johnson, a patient of mine who had died and been buried almost a year ago. But I’m a scientist, and don’t believe in ghost and spooks!
I did the most incredible reality testing I’ve ever done. I tried to touch her because she looked kind of transparent in a waxy way. Not that you could see furniture behind her, but not quite real either. I know I touched her, and she had feeling to her.
We came to my office, and she opened the door. We went inside and she said, “I had to come back for two reasons. Number one, I wanted to thank you and Reverend Smith once more for what you have done for me. But the real reason why I had to come back is to tell you not to give up your work on death and dying. Not yet.”
I realized consciously that maybe indeed this was Mrs. Johnson. But I thought nobody would ever believe me if I told this to anybody. They really would thing I had slipped!.
So my scientist in me needed proof. I needed a sheet of paper with anything written in her handwriting, and hopefully her signature.
This woman knew my thoughts and knew I had no intention to ever giver her note to Reverend Smith. However, she took a piece of paper and wrote a message and signed it with her full name. Then with the biggest smile of love and compassion and understanding, she said to me, “Are you satisfied now?”
Once more she said, “You cannot give up your work on death and dying. Not yet. The time is not right. We will help you. You will know when the time is right. Do you promise?” The last thing I said to her was “I promise.” And with that, she walked out.
No sooner was the door closed, I had to go and see if she was real. I opened the door, and there was not a soul in that long hallway!

Dr Elisabeth story defied everything Bill knew and understood and assumed was trued about death and life after death, and it forced him to re examined all his beliefs for any logical explanations but found none. Bill decided to find personal answers for some of mankind’s oldest questions: Is there life after death? Do we enter a new dimension or level of existence when our physical life is over? Will we be united with our friends and family members who have already died? Is it possible for our deceased loved ones to communicate with us now?

So began Bill and Judy’s research into life after death. There are many books on this topic. What they came up was a detailed book on Communication from the dead in various forms or After Death Communications (ADC for short). They are members of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS since 1981) and talked with hundreds of people (first hand) who reported having near death experiences, out-of-body journeys, after death communications and other kinds of spiritual experiences. These Bill and Judy wrote down and categorized.

Their research is done with several defined boundaries to outline what is termed as an After Death Communication (ADC) or not;-

- It must be a direct one to one experience. No medium, psychic, hypnotist or third party is involved.
- It is a spontaneous event. The deceased initiated the contact. Seances, ouija boards, crystal balls or similar devices used to make contact with the dead are not counted as ADC’s.

The ADC Project started in Orlando, Florida (North America) in May 1988. They had collected 3,300 firsthand experiences in all 50 American states and ten Canadian provinces. The people interviewed are from all walks of life and represent diverse social, educational, occupational and economic background. They range from a 8 year old boy to a 92 year old widower. Almost all had a religious upbringing and were still practicing at the time of interview. Those interviewed were in good health (not senile or crazy) and were never involved in drugs or alcohol at the time of their experiences.

Bill and Judy Guggenheim’s research came up with a lot of ways that communication can happen. The list is in accordance to their book content:- through ones senses like feeling a presence, on hearing a voice, feeling a touch like a hug a kiss etc., smelling a fragrance like perfume or cologne, seeing a dead relative’s or friend image partially or fully, having visions of their dead relatives/friends in a better place, encountering their deceased loved ones when almost asleep, almost awake or while dreaming, having out of body experiences, getting calls from the other side even when phone lines have been disconnected, getting symbols and signs that they know are from someone who has crossed over, things moving or changing around the house after someone has departed from physical existence, having communications when the death of the other person is not known yet or even after many years has passed, getting evidence for lost things or missing information that is urgently required, getting information that can protect you or your family from harm like the folly of suicide, having a second person around when the deceased contacted you (a confirmation that you are not insane or hallucinating).

They also discovered that After Death Communications is usually positive and when it is over, it leaves a sense of comfort and peace to the living. Sometimes this is not so as the person’s disposition can affect his or her understanding and acceptance of the experience. Some, due to superstitions, negative frame of mind from watching too many horror movies and negative social perception about death, people tend to be frightened out of their wits and are unable to communicate effectively or get the message that their deceased relative or friend is trying to say even though it is just simply to say “Hello, I have crossed over successfully and am doing fine over here.”.

The stories published in the book are very touching unlike the scary movies we so often watch, and I was often moved to tears on how much effort and trouble the deceased loved ones take just to show that they still care for the living and that they do not want them to mourn too long as they are happier where they are.

Since there is enough proof that life does exist after we die, what happens next? Where do we go once we open that door? Is there a Heaven and Hell or an alternative place that we can go to after we die?

This I will continue to do research and write about in the future.

The world cheapest brand new small Car - NANO

January 10, 2008 , Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.

Mr. Ratan N. Tata, Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Motors, today unveiled the Tata 'NANO', the People's Car from Tata Motors that India and the world have been looking forward to. The People's Car will be launched in India later in 2008.

The four seater NANO with an engine around 625cc, will have a dealer price of 100,000 rupees equivalent to 2,554.28 USD ( click Universal currency converter ).

A Brief Specification Of TATA NANO:

The company claimed that the nano brings the comfort and safety of a car within the reach of thousands of families. I agreed with the statement since it is safer than riding a bike or motorcycle. Here in Malaysia, I have observed many using motorcycle with little regards in terms of their safety. Some of them ride the motorcycle in threesome and worst still without wearing helmet. . To own a car is not for everyone since it involves quite substantial money to run. However, I’m pretty sure everyone can afford to own NANO.

Mr. Ratan N. Tata fo TATA Motor said, "I observed families riding on two-wheelers - the father driving the scooter, his young kid standing in front of him, his wife seated behind him holding a little baby. It led me to wonder whether one could conceive of a safe, affordable, all-weather form of transport for such a family".

Tata Motors' engineers and designers gave their all for about four years to create “NANO”.
The car is affordable, built to meet safety requirements and emission norms, fuel efficient and thus low on fuel consumption. NANO the people’s car help brings joy, pride and personal mobility to many families.

These are the main features of NANO.

Stylish, comfortable :
designed with a family in mind, roomy passenger compartment. Can accommodate four persons. Yet with a length of 3.1 metres, width of 1.5 metres and height of 1.6 metres, with adequate ground clearance, it can effortlessly manoeuvre on busy roads in cities as well as in rural areas. Its mono-volume design, with wheels at the corners and the powertrain at the rear, enables it to uniquely combine both space and manoeuvrability, which will set a new benchmark among small cars.

Fuel-efficient engine :
The People's Car has a rear-wheel drive, all-aluminium, two-cylinder, 623cc, 33ps, multi-point fuel injection petrol engine. This is the first time that a two-cylinder gasoline engine is being used in a car with single balancer shaft. The lean design strategy has helped minimise weight, which helps maximise performance per unit of energy consumed and delivers high fuel efficiency. Performance is controlled by a specially designed electronic engine management system.

Meets all safety requirements:
The People's Car's safety performance exceeds current regulatory requirements. With an all sheet-metal body, it has a strong passenger compartment, with safety features such as crumple zones, intrusion-resistant doors, seat belts, strong seats and anchorages, and the rear tailgate glass bonded to the body. Tubeless tyres further enhance safety.

Environment-friendly :
The People's Car's tailpipe emission performance exceeds regulatory requirements. In terms of overall pollutants, it has a lower pollution level than two-wheelers being manufactured in India today. The high fuel efficiency also ensures that the car has low carbon dioxide emissions, thereby providing the twin benefits of an affordable transportation solution with a low carbon footprint.

Using Credit Card to Finance your Business Startup

According to entrepreneur magazine, using credit card to finance your business start up is very risky and not adviseable. But if you use it as a temporary solution for your business, yes you can do so. But you have to be very extra careful and calculative and not to over use it or you may end up paying very high interest. Getting enough money to start up a business is not easy and you have to learn to manage the finance carefully or else everything start going down hill.

How many of you did use credit card to start a business?

Why am I always broke at the beginning of every month?

We work so hard and long hours from Monday to Friday, sometimes and most of the time even on weekends. Everyday is like a routine, wake up early in the morning and getting stress up driving through the maddening traffic every day, rush to lunch, going through the same maddening traffic to get home and so on. It is a never-ending story and I suppose it continue to go on until retirement.

Then one day you start question to yourself “ when is this going to stop? When am I starting getting enough money to retire comfortably? I have a friend for many years, he start complaining about his life from the start until he retire (he end up retired poorly). Believe me, not having enough money upon retirement is like hell. Not getting enough money and cannot afford a big luxury car and so on. But he never think of the many ways to improve his current situation. Instead of complaining, it is better to come up with few ideas on how to improve one financial situation. Complaining about it without doing anything to solve the root of the problem is to me a bloody waste of time. Why complain?

Complaining isn’t going to help you to get more money or at least improve your financial problem.

For example, let us do some thinking like, how to make your hard-earned ringgit (RM) stretch further by adopting a smart and healthier attitude toward money management and be coming a careful money spender.

Let us begin by looking at where all the money goes (out of our pocket).

THE BIGGEST MONETARY WASTES:

a) Extravagant life style: going out for expensive dinner, eating out more frequently (almost everyday), Spend more at restaurant. Buying the expensive designer clothes (even though we know we cannot afford but for style, who cares), buying unnecessary gadget i.e. expensive latest nokia handphone with TV tuner, MP3 player, 5MP camera and so on. The list can go on.

b) Gambling: Buying the 4D and hoping to win the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for couple of thousands and then keep on saying the word over and over again “if I won the 1st prize, I am going to spend the money buying all the thing that I have always wanted”. My friend, gambling can be very addictive than smoking or drinking or womanizing. It can drain your saving or whatever amount of money you have like water rushing out of the tap. The simple advice is keep away from gambling except during festive season such as Gong Xi Fa Chai where the gambling must end on Chap Goh Meh.

c) Cigarettes: If you are a heavy smoker, you might not understand the economic significance of a daily packet of cigarettes over a lifetime (if you live longer to see it for yourself). The cost of a packet of cigarettes nowadays is roughly between RM 8.00 to RM10.00 (depending of the brand). If you smoked a packed a day, in a month you have to fork out at least RM 240.00 and in a year you may have spend about RM 2880.00. That my friend a lot of money. If you invested the money, instead you may be getting a handsome return. However, it is easier say than done. To be able to quit smoking is a very hard thing to do to some people but hey, you have to sacrifice something to gain isn’t it.

d) Paying too much interest: I believe most of us have a credit card (at least one). In fact, it is one of the most valuable plastic card you often carry with you wherever you go. But if you use it wisely it actually help you financially but if you use it wrongly, well, you will suffer for it. Those of you carry outstanding balance from month to month is a sure sign of danger and you are force to pay more and more to be able to eventually settle the amount and the moment you paid them in full you will be tempted to use it again. To avoid being in bad debt, manage your credit cards carefully by:
· Paying off your card balance in full every month.
· Using it wisely to take advantage of the 20 day free interest period.

In short, to be able to manage your money carefully is not that hard to do. It just needs practice, discipline, and strong will power not to buy or spend unnecessarily. Budget for necessities such as Food, Electricity, Petrol and so on. Tackle the one that is most important first. Manage compulsive buying behavior by keeping less cash in the wallet so you are not tempted to spend what you don’t have. Shop with a list. And most importantly is start putting away some percentage of your earning and invest them. Let the money be your servant. Let the money work hard to get you more money. You are the master not the money.
